Strong LA vibes that are shaking up Bozeman and Brigade is still very Montana. Good bar & food and attentive service. Tangy tender ribs disappeared before I could get a photo. Wine flights are great adventures and hint at how the bar thoughtfully pairs with the kitchen. Salads were well accompanied by shrimp and steak. Steak Fries very nicely adorned with red peppers.
Excellent food! The atmosphere was fantastic with a very inviting bar area and open kitchen. The menu was a little bit limited but everything we ordered was very good with the exception of the sweet pickle on my patty melt. (but I’m sure some folks would like that) My wife LOVED the pesto caprese grilled cheese and their Caesar salad was fabulous. I definitely recommend this place 💯
We stopped by Brigade (233 E Main St, Suite 201) during their daily happy hour from 3–6pm and it was such a fantastic way to unwind. The cool atmosphere is even better at that time—the stylish space with big windows overlooking Main Street feels vibrant and welcoming, perfect for people-watching or just soaking in the downtown energy. The food was excellent, especially the happy hour deals. We enjoyed fresh $3 oysters, delicious truffle fries (or Parmesan fries—highly recommend!), and a few other tasty small bites that felt elevated yet approachable. Everything was flavorful with great Montana ingredients. Our waiter was genuinely friendly and attentive, making great recommendations and keeping things fun and relaxed the whole time. Whether you’re grabbing drinks and apps during happy hour or staying for dinner, Brigade delivers on vibe, quality, and service. One of the best happy hours in Bozeman— we’ll definitely be back!
Brigade definitely has a more upscale menu and feel. Nice wide and open bar with stool seating around. Open kitchen has a fun feel to it. Chairs are surprisingly supportive but somewhat odd at the high table we were at. Just much deeper and softer than one would expect so beware. Smaller but decent list of draft beers and a huge selectionh of various liquors and spirits including a nice wine list. food was quite good and among the best for our week in Bozeman. Staff very attentive - Lucy was excellent managing our large group with aplomb. Charcuterie board was tasty with delicious olives but way too much mustard and not enough cheeses. Crab cakes were ok - too crunchy for me - but you’re likely not in Bozeman for seafood. The bison short rib was divine. Polenta super creamy and flavorful. Collards packin an amazing vinegary punch. Definitely pricy but worth the extra bucks.
This is my go-to place for happy hour with my friends. It's a rustic modern chill venue. The staff is always wonderful. My favorite is the berry martini - sweet but not too sweet and it isn't weak! And the walnut shrimp is to die for! The happy hour drink prices make it possible to get out on a tight budget. Love this place! And it's good for all adult ages!
Had Sunday brunch at Brigade. So many good choices on the menu hard to decide. The chorizo gravy was best we’ve ever had. Service excellent. Will def go back!
This is a fancy restaurant with way too great of a happy hour menu. There were cheap great drinks, my friend had a $3.50 martini and I had a lemon sour. The Parmesan fries on happy hour were only $10 and were delicious served with ranch. I would definitely come back for happy hour and even dinner, great vibe inside and the food and drinks were great. 10/10 happy hour! 🍻
Chic downtown eatery with cool vibes and a great happy hour! Craft cocktails are spot on. Warm atmosphere with a mix of booths barstools and tables. Private dining room available for parties. Open for lunch and dinner and brunch on occasion
We had a great experience at Brigade. The atmosphere and decor were beautiful, the food was delicious, and our server went above and beyond to make the experience even better. Highly recommended!
I've enjoyed many happy hours at Brigade, and it never disappoints! They have some of the best happy hour deals around— martinis, cocktails and beer specials. The fries are tasty, the oysters are fresh, and while I haven't tried much else on the menu yet, everything I've had has been enjoyable. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the setting above Main Ave is a fantastic spot to relax. I also love that the restaurant has several different spaces, making it fun to sit in a new area each visit and experience a different vibe.
